Macular Degeneration is a very common eye-disorder that you can get to know about in different people’s life after having a bit of information about it. The same disorder is well known as age-related macular degeneration or AMD.

Macula deterioration is the most common reason for this order in a person's life. It’s the same area in the black part of the eye and at the center of the retina.

In the Dry Macular Degeneration, the people affected with the same condition to up to 90%. The primary reason behind this is the yellow deposits created in the macula area, also known as the Drusen.

On the other hand, Dry macular Degeneration causes issues with a person for up to 15%. The disorder happens in a person’s life whenever you see the blood vessels appear on your eyes' macula and retina area.

The Macular Degeneration Symptoms:

The Dry Macular Degeneration:

Following are the common symptoms in the Dry Macular Degeneration:

  • You can quickly adapt to the low lights.
  • You will need brighter lighting.
  • You will feel issues in the visions due to the straight line distortions.
  • You will have to face the problems in the central vision.

The Wet Macular Degeneration:

In Wet Macular Degeneration, you will have symptoms like reduce central vision and visual distortions. In general, these symptoms are the same as Dry macular degeneration. However, you will also experience other symptoms like:

  • Hazy Vision.
  • You will see the blurry spot of the vision field.
  • Rapid worsening feelings in the eyes.
  • Leaking fluid or blood vessels bleeding that will make a dark spot.

Last but not least, the dry macular degeneration disorder is less progressive as compared to the wet. Therefore, you need to take care of it.
